Cable ties
HAUPA cable ties are characterised by their tightness, high tensile strength of
the loop and extreme flexibility of the cord.
As a result of these characteristics, HAUPA cable ties are able to cope with
even the most extreme installation practices, which conventional cable ties
would not be able to cope with. All HAUPA cable ties conform to WEEE/RoHS
guidelines.

Ideal storage conditions for cable ties made from nylon
Cable ties are made from high-quality nylon. This technical plastic is usually
processed through injection moulding, but it can also be extruded. Nylon is a
hygroscopic plastic that absorbs water and can release it. In order to process
the ties optimally, it is important that the material is in a balanced state with a
water content of approx. 2.5%. The original HAUPA cable tie packaging provides
constant water content in the material.
The cable ties should be stored as follows:
Storage in a closed plastic bag made from polyethylene
No direct sunlight
Storage without direct exposure to heat (radiator etc.)
Ideal storage temperature (standard Central European
climatic conditions) up to 23° with 50% humidity 23°C
All HAUPA cable ties are made from plastic and are recyclable. The internal
toothing of the ties gives you the necessary strength to tie the material. The
cable ties can be simply used by hand or with a HAUPA cable tie tool. The
slightly bent end allows the tie to be inserted into the head easily.
