Our new HUPlightStripeSafety light strip is powered by low voltage (48 V DC) and therefore complies with protection class 3, meaning there is no risk of electric shock if the strip is accidentally pinched or cut. With IP65, the light strip is suitable for use in damp working environments. HUPlightStripeSafety is flicker-free, so there is no annoying flickering effect that can interfere with work and, in the worst case, lead to misjudgements on rotating equipment. As an additional safety feature, the strip continues to glow for approx. 15 - 20 minutes after a power failure due to a fluorescent effect. HUPlightStripeSafety can be extended to a maximum length of 50 m. The powerful LEDs on both sides result in a beam angle of 240° (120° per side) and guarantee optimum glare-free illumination.

The HUPlightStripe Mobile is a flexible, mobile LED light strip that has been specially developed for use with standard 18 V Makita batteries. Ideal for construction sites, service work, events or temporary lighting solutions – completely without cables or a power connection.

Emergency power supply for our HUPlightStripe 230 V light strips (130364 and 130366) as an ideal addition to permanently installed and temporary installations. When connected to the mains, the HUPlightStripe can be switched on and off with an on/off button at full light output. In the event of a power failure, the emergency light activates in less than a second and supplies the HUPlightStripe with a reduced voltage of 175 V DC. This allows for up to 2 x 60 minutes of emergency lighting. Depending on the length of the HUPlightStripe light strip, the reduced voltage decreases the light output.
