Rope shortener function: takes up slack rope and thus reduces height of the fall. Fall absorber function: in the case of a fall this limits the catching impact to a medically acceptable level of 6 kN. Features: Rope shortener made from V2A stainless steel, connection band with integrated fall absorber and self-securing trigger snap, high level of functional safety and absolutely maintenance free due to simplest mechanism, cannot be operated incorrectly, as every device is firmly attached to the rope.
